The church is located in North Amherst at the intersection of Pine, Meadow and North Pleasant streets (1193 N. Pleasant St.), across from the North Amherst Library, the Amherst Survival Center, the Head Start program, and the Black Walnut Inn.

Parking for the church is in the adjacent shopping plaza. Please use the spaces on the south and back sides of the plaza first. Handicap parking is provided in spaces that are beside the church driveway, and wheelchair access to our lift is via the door that opens onto the driveway.

Coming from Out of Town?

From the West

Take Route 9 through Hadley. After passing a pair of malls on your right, take the left exit onto Route 116 North (at a traffic light by a Staples store). Go past the first (UMass) exit to the first traffic light, turning right onto Meadow Street. At the next traffic light, you will see the church diagonally across the intersection. Turn left at the light, then stay to the right and turn right into the Riverside Plaza parking lot.

From the East

Take Route 9 into Amherst. (To get to Route 9 from the Mass Pike, exit at Palmer and follow signs for UMass. This will take you through Belchertown.)

Easy but longer route: Continue on Route 9 through Amherst, into Hadley. After passing a Stop and Shop shopping plaza on your right, take the right exit onto Route 116 North. Go past the first (UMass) exit to the first traffic light, turning right onto Meadow Street. At the next traffic light, you will see the church diagonally across the intersection. Turn left at the light, then stay to the right and turn right into the Riverside Plaza parking lot.

More complex, but shorter route: At the first traffic light in Amherst, turn right onto South East Street. At the next light, turn left onto Main Street. Go up the hill and over the railroad tracks, turning right at the next light onto Triangle Street. At the next light, turn right onto East Pleasant Street. Stay on East Pleasant until it ends at Pine Street. Turn left onto Pine, and proceed down the hill to the next light. The church is on your right. Turn right, passing in front of the church, bear right at the Y and turn right into the Riverside Plaza parking lot.

From the South

Take Interstate 91 North to exit 19 for Route 9 to Northampton, Hadley, and Amherst. At the end of the ramp, turn right and then follow directions for coming from the west.

If coming from Granby, South Hadley, Chicopee, etc., take Route 116 North to the center of Amherst. Continue straight through Amherst. The road eventually becomes East Pleasant Street. Stay on East Pleasant until it ends at Pine Street. Turn left onto Pine, and proceed down the hill to the next light. The church is on your right. Turn right, passing in front of the church, bear right at the Y and turn right into the Riverside Plaza parking lot.

From the North

Take Interstate 91 South to exit 24 for South Deerfield. At the end of the ramp, turn left. At the light, turn right. Pass Yankee Candle Company on the right, and turn left at the next light onto Route 116 South. Stay on 116, crossing the Connecticut River, passing through the town of Sunderland. After entering Amherst, at the first traffic light on 116, turn left onto Meadow Street. At the next traffic light, you will see the church diagonally across the intersection. Turn left at the light, then stay to the right and turn right into the Riverside Plaza parking lot.

If coming from Northfield, Millers Falls, Montague, etc., take Route 63 South all the way into Amherst. Route 63 ends at the interstection in front of the church.

If coming from Orange, New Salem, etc., take Route 202 South, turning right at the exit for Shutesbury Center. Go all the way through Shutesbury on this road into Leverett. The road ends at a T intersction, where you will turn left. Stay on this road -- after winding through the countryside for some distance, you will enter Amherst. After crossing railroad tracks, the road takes a sharp curve to the right and becomes Pine Street. Proceed on Pine down the hill to the next light. The church is on your right. Turn right, passing in front of the church, bear right at the Y and turn right into the Riverside Plaza parking lot.
