Praise Singing and How It Happens

When you first come in, you'll be handed a single page that has a list of the songs we'll sing and the order of worship for the day. It also includes our calendar and contact information. And you get to choose where to sit -- our greeters won't try to "usher" you to some special seat.

We begin with about ten minutes of singing, generally easy and uplifting music with a beat that's meant to get us tapping our toes if not outright standing and moving. The language is fully inclusive, as we believe that God's image is represented by every one in the world.

All the song lyrics are projected on a large video screen so we can lift our eyes and voices upward. The lyrics are often accompanied by inspiring images that help move us deeper into connecting with God's love. And if you're visually challenged, the screen is even easier to read than large print!

After all these good tunes, we're ready to accept God's love...
